Ever wanted to remove Norton AntiVirus from a Mac and didn’t know how to do it? Well, I had tried for a while without success. Then I found this great overview by Symantec on how to get rid of their products. The small “Remove all Symantec programs” was the app of my choice. And it did a great job.

Hm, I wonder how it got on the Mac in the first place?

Well, there is a Mac version - I don’t consider it necessary, though. While waiting for my Macbook I used an old iBook of a friend that had AntiVirus installed. And the Import Manager brought it on my shiny new macbook (at least, the pane in system preferences and the icon in the menu).
