Das American Press Institute steckt 2 Mio US$ in die Erforschung neuer Geschäftsmodelle für Zeitungen. Jeff Jarvis pointiert den Fehler dieses Ansatzes: “It’s not about new models for newspapers; it’s about new models for news.” Und ähnlich Nancy Wang: “Instead of thinking about threats to newspapers, they should be thinking about learning with the emerging competition that seems to be taking away their audiences.”
